Administrative Assistant

Role Overview:
Our client is a well-established manufacturing and installation company serving the building industry. This small, family-run business is currently seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join their collaborative team based in Greenacre, NSW.

In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operations of the business by providing efficient administrative support to internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to multitask, and prioritise effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact by managing reception duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and welcoming business visitors.
  • Handle incoming sales orders and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform data entry tasks and generate sales reports using MYOB.
  • Oversee general office tasks, including document filing, maintaining records, and ensuring an organised workspace.
  • Collaborate effectively with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative assistance to the Marketing Department and CFO as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administrative or office-based role.
  • Proficient computer skills, including strong knowledge of Excel. Experience with MYOB is an advantage.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
