Forklift Operator/Labourer

The Job:

Employal Recruitment is seeking dedicated individuals to fill various Forklift Operator/Labourer roles in Smithfield. If you are a hardworking and reliable individual looking for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Schedule/Shifts: 

• Morning Schedule 6am - 2pm
• Afternoon Schedule 2pm - 10pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain food production equipment and machinery including forklift operations
• Perform various tasks in the food production process, including sorting, mixing, scooping, weighing, blending and packaging.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and products as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Operate and maintain food production equipment and machinery including forklift operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment (GMP, HACCP, Food Handling)
• Basic Computer Skills 
• RF Scanning experience 
• Monday - Friday (must have full working rights) e.g. citizen/residence.
• Possession of a LF (Forklift) license is an advantage
• Candidates without an LF license are also encouraged to apply.
• Able to lift heavy (up to 25kg).
• No allergies or food restrictions.
